The ACCESS College Foundation will help students in the public schools of South Hampton Roads go to college:
- by inspiring the hope that a college education is attainable;
- by supporting them in achieving the requirements for college acceptance;
- by guiding them through the college application process; and
- by assisting them in gaining the funds to attend college.

| The ACCESS Program is a non-profit organization designed to assist students attending participating public high schools in the South Hampton Roads area in furthering their education beyond high school. Founded in 1988, the program is supported by local foundations, businesses, and by individuals who believe that every student who graduates from high school should have the opportunity to attend college. Each year, ACCESS advisors help more than 5,000 students in South Hampton Roads enroll in college and obtain approximately $15 million in financial aid and scholarship money. Advisors are available in each participating high school to assist students and parents with all phases of the college admission and financial process. Advisors provide fees for college testing and applications for eligible students in cases where need is evident and waivers cannot be obtained. |
