mission statement for the Virginia Beach City Public Schools Gifted Program
is to challenge students with differentiated interdisciplinary opportunities,
to provide a flexible, innovative curriculum that promotes self-esteem,
productivity, creativity, and leadership; and to develop individual talents,
special abilities, and a commitment to excellence. The Gifted and Talented
Program incorporates personalized instruction with accelerated and enriched
experiences designed to enhance thinking abilities, academic performance,
and the special talents of identified students. |
